| Consecutive Driving | Ignition On to Ignition Off has been detected for longer than the threshold specified. Does not monitor ELD HOS, for internal use only. | |
| Driver Behavior | Triggers when safety related events are recorded. Multiple Trigger Events can be selected. | Sudden Stop: Detected when 9 G’s of force are exerted over 1.5s -3.0s |
| Hard Brake: Detected based on a vehicle slowing in excess of 4 MPH/s for 1.5s - 3.0s | ||
| Hard Turn: Detected when the direction of travel based on the vehicles heading deviates in by 4 MPH/s for 1.5 - 3.0 seconds | ||
| Rapid Acceleration: Detected when a vehicle is accelerating in excess of a threshold of 5.6 MPH/s 1.5s - 3.0s | ||
| ELD 150 Mile Rule | Triggered when a vehicle exits a Location that has the 150 Miles Rule Enabled. Used to ensure that target vehicles refrain inadvertently triggering the need for ELD record keeping. | |
| Heavy Duty Diagnostics | Triggered when select sensor thresholds are reached. (For example, exceeding a maximum temperature) and/or alerts for active Diagnostic Troubleshooting Codes showing in the vehicle. Only available for ECU-connected devices in heavy-duty vehicles. | |
| Idle | Alerts when vehicle idles longer than the chosen threshold. Idle event must end for the Alert to be triggered. Software needs the event total to accurately trigger. | |
| Internal Battery Recovered | The TopFly Solar Powered Asset Tracker battery has rebuilt enough power to being reporting again | |
| Geofence | Alerts when asset trackers enter or exit Geofences. Alert is set as part of creating the Geofence. Entry alert provides a duration option, alerting when a unit has remained within the Geofence for longer than the selected threshold. | |
| Landmark | Alerts when vehicles enter and exit Landmarks. Options include Inside Duration and if the Alert should trigger recurrently. | |
| Light Duty Diagnostics | Triggered when select sensor thresholds are reached. (For example, exceeding a maximum temperature) and/or alerts for active Diagnostic Troubleshooting Codes showing in the vehicle. Only available for devices that connect to the OBDII port in light-duty vehicles. | |
| Maintenance | Alerts when a Maintenance Service has reached the thresholds for Reminder, Interval and Past Due. Alerts are configured as part of the use of the Maintenance Tab. | |
| Not At Location | Triggered if the location of the Wex Fuel Card usage does not match the location of the vehicle the card in question has been paired to. | |
| Off Hour | Alerts when at least one of the selected triggers (Ignition, Drive, Input, Geofence, Landmark) are recorded outside of a set, custom schedule. Use the Scheduling & Frequency step to input the desired schedule via the Custom option. *Note: If using the Drive trigger, the alert will be sent immediately after the Ignition On event is logged, then as an hourly summary thereafter. | |
| On Event | Triggered when a selected Event is detected. Limited to one Event per Alert. | Ignition Off: Ignition off detected |
| Ignition On: Ignition on detected | ||
| Input: For wired-install units utilizing the Input feature. Triggers when activity related to the selected Input(s) has been detected, such as the tow truck lift being engaged. | ||
| Light Sensor: GL500 only, triggered by placing the unit in a dark area, then introducing light (such as opening an access panel) | ||
| Low Battery: Alerts when the internal battery within the tracking unit is nearly out of power. Triggers just before the battery power is depleted, reconnect unit to power as soon as possible. | ||
| Main Power Off: Alerts to when a tracking device is disconnected from an external power source and must utilize the internal back-up battery. Not available for all device types. Units will continue to report, depending on the available battery power supply. | ||
| Main Power On: Alerts when external power supply to unit is detected | ||
| Motion: Only available for asset units specifically programmed to detect and report motion. Must be requested at time of purchase. Will reduce battery life due to increased power draw. | ||
| Ping: Alert that unit has received a ping command sent via the Status tab. Asset devices utilizing battery power will not respond due to power use reduction. | ||
| Tamper Sensor: GL500 only, used to detect tampering such as removing the unit from its installation site | ||
| Update: Asset device making scheduled reading, recommended use for units with a limited reporting interval. | ||
| User Update: Pressing manual button GL500 | ||
| Overfill | Wex Fuel Card integration only. Fuel purchased exceeds the tank capacity for the vehicle linked to the WEX card. | |
| Route Deviation Alert | Triggered when a Vehicle deviates more than 50 meters from their assigned Route. | |
| Smart One C Low Battery | Internal battery on Smart One C solar powered asset tracker has low internal battery. | |
| Speed | Unit speed over a chosen threshold has been detected. The Alert does NOT require that both thresholds be broken. Exceeding either one will be enough for the Alert to trigger. | Vehicle Speed: A specific speed is chosen using the slider, Alert will trigger if exceeded. |
| Over Posted Speed Limit: Unit has exceeded the posted speed by the threshold chosen. | ||
| Stationary | No motion detected for the duration of the threshold selected, regardless of ignition status. | |
| Stop Duration | Alerts when the vehicle has been stopped AND ignition off for longer than the threshold selected, options are for immediate send along with minutes, hours and days. | |
| Stopped Reporting |
The TCU has not reported to the platform within a defined time frame. Note: For paired VidFleet cameras, 2 Stopped Reporting thresholds must be established as the Camera and GPS operate independently. |
|
| Temperature | Alerts that designated high or low temperatures thresholds have been exceeded. Must be configured as part of Temperature settings in the Manage tab. | |
| Total Drive Time | Triggers if more motion than permitted has occurred between the designated start and end times. This Alert is not tied to ELD Hours of Service regulations, it is used for internal purposes only. | |
| Tow | Motion has been detected, without an accompanying Ignition On event. Does not apply to Asset Tracking devices, Fleet devices only. | |
| Unassigned Driver | Alerts to trips in which no driver was assigned to the unit, either by using a key fob (driver did not swipe in) OR manual assignment via software platform. | |
| Vehicle Congregation | The number of units permitted to gather in one or more selected Landmarks has been exceeded. |
