The Shipment feature connects drivers, motor carriers, brokers, shippers and receivers to share information in real time. Shippers and receivers can confirm exact time, bay number assigned to the driver, safe parking instructions and any additional notes. This information is shared (instantly) with drivers, allowing them to better plan their routes, rest times and minimize dock waiting times. Drivers can both view existing Shipments as well as create them within the app via the left hand menu.
Tap Shipments to open.
Current Shipments will be displayed for easy viewing.
To create a shipment tap the plus (+) button.
Fill the estimated pickup date and time, then the estimated delivery date and time.
Next, provide the following information: Shipper, Number (Manifest or Bill of Lading), Commodity and any Additional Comments.
The Pickup and Delivery sections are provided for items such as Bay assignments and Parking recommendations. These fields are filled in after the Shipment has been shared with and updated by the Motor Carrier and/or Broker.
To edit a Shipment, simply tap on it.
