Drivers can access their logs for review at any time and if necessary edits can be made to correct mistakes. These logs are accessed via the menu in the upper left hand corner.
Once the menu is open select Logbook.
The app holds 14 days of records, the current day plus the previous 13. The logbook will default to the current day when opened. Tap the date in the upper right corner to change to a different day.
Displayed first will be a list of events logged for the date selected. This is where Log Edits can be entered.
For example, a status of Off Duty was mistakenly entered. The Driver was actually On Duty. Locate the entry on the list and press the edit button on the right.
Working from the top, use Status to input the desired status change.
Both the Start Date and End Date can be adjusted. Tapping the desired item will produce a pop-up calendar where the change can be made.
Use the Remark field to enter the notes explaining the reason for the log edit.
Press ‘Confirm Changes’ to save.
Edits entered by Drivers will take effect immediately and require no other approval.
*Note: Please be aware that Automatic Transition Driving events can only be edited via the Driver app, not the Administrative panel. Due to this restriction any edits of this nature must be entered by the Driver themselves. The GPS Trackit Care team is happy to help explain this process to the Drivers and to answer their questions. However under no circumstances can GPS Trackit input the edit on a Driver’s behalf. The Apollo ELD software does not permit that type of access.
To view a Graph of the day’s activity, tap the Show Logbook button.
Use Show Logs to switch back to the event list.
