When the Driver is done using the app they must log out. This is very important for two reasons: first to ensure that no other driver activity is logged under the wrong name. This can be a problem with shared devices. In addition, failure to log out can also cause issues with the app itself. Periodically updates will be released to maintain compliance. These updates can’t be processed while the app is in use. If updates are prevented for long enough, the app could become unstable.
To log out the Duty Status must be set to Off Duty. This is to prevent accidental violations that could arise from logging with the duty clock still running.
Log out is accessed via the left corner menu.
If any logs are uncertified, a pop will appear asking if the Driver wants to certify them.
After making the appropriate choice the log out request will process.
