In order to utilize ELD, each Driver has to be provided with a set of login credentials for the app. These credentials are created in the ELD Administrative Panel. The app itself is called Apollo ELD and is available for Apple and Android as a free download.
Login consists of a Username and password. Just a reminder, under no circumstances can Drivers share credentials with each other. Every Driver must use their own login. As a reminder, User credentials will not provide access to the Driver app. Drivers that also conduct ELD administrative business (such as owner-operators) will need separate User credentials.
If needed, the language of the app can be changed to French or Spanish using the dropdown under the Password field.
Drivers must select which Tractor (vehicle) they drive and if applicable, the trailer being pulled. Vehicles and trailers are collectively known as Assets.
Use Select Tractor to choose the vehicle being driven.
To select a Tractor, simply tap the circle to the right.
Then Save by tapping the checkmark at the top.
If pulling a Trailer, repeat the above steps using Select Trailer.
Note: multiple Trailers can be selected at once. Be sure any unneeded Trailers have been deselected before saving.
The Odometer reading for the selected Tractor will need to be entered, then confirmed in the appropriate fields. Trailer mileage is not required.
Using Bluetooth, the app will scan for ELD devices within range to connect to. Any results will be listed here. If more than one device is listed, the Driver should take care to select the unit within the vehicle he/she is operating.
If the needed device is not listed, press Scan Devices to try again.
If the needed unit is still not being shown, please contact GPS Trackit for assistance.
Once the correct unit has been selected, press Continue.
The ELD mandate requires that certain information (such as Mileage, Speed, etc…) be read off the vehicle by the ELD unit. These results can be seen here.
If any items are missing, the ELD is not in compliance. Press Run ELD Diagnostics to re-attempt pulling the information.

Press Continue to access the Main Operations screen and begin using the ELD Driver App.
