Certifying a log book means that the Driver is signing off that the records are correct and complete. Log books must be certified at the end of each work day. This is required by the US DOT. Prior to Certifying a record, use the Logbook section to ensure everything is correct.
Certify Records is found in the left hand menu.
Tap on Certify Records to a list of all uncertified records for the last 14 days.
Locate the day to be certified and tap the checkbox to the right.
Then select click the Certify button.
After tapping Certify, a pop up will appear to confirm the certification. To proceed select Agree. To cancel the certification select Cancel. Certifications cannot be undone once confirmed.
Submitting a Log Edit will require the record to be certified again once the Edit is complete.
