How Does Driver Video Clip Review Work?
Users access the Clips via the Video tab.
The Review Status of each Clip can be seen in the lower left corner.
To change the Review Status or add Notes, click on the Clip to open it.
Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner.
Use the Review Status buttons as needed. A Review Status set by a User is visible to the Driver but cannot be altered by them.
While Drivers can utilize the Accepted and Disputed statuses via their mobile app, False Positive and Reviewed are restricted to Users only.
False Positive should be used to indicate that the Camera has captured an event in error, for example that no seatbelt is in use when one clearly is. Clips marked False Positive require the User to input Notes detailing the choice.
Notes regarding the Clip are entered below the Review Status options. Using the ‘Visible to Driver’ checkbox allows note visibility to the Driver. Drivers can add Notes from their app, which will be visible in the feed.
Notes can only be altered or deleted by the User or Driver who input them.
When viewing the list of Clips, statuses can be updated in bulk by checking off the Clips in question then selecting the Settings icon in the top left. This will open the Change Status window. Select the desired stats and press Save.
To ensure accuracy, Driver assignments can be updated if needed. To do so, locate the desired clip using the filters to the right. Then click the quick menu button on the lower right corner of the clip in question.
Select ‘Assign Driver’. Additional fields will then appear on the right.
Use the dropdown menu to select the desired Driver, then Save.
Updating the Driver assigned to a VidFleet Event will also update the Driver information for the entire Trip including any further VidFleet Events captured during that trip. An error message will be displayed if the selected Driver has a conflicting assignment, as Drivers cannot be assigned to multiple vehicles at the same time.
