In order for Drivers to log into the GPS Trackit Driver app, credentials must be created for them. This takes place within the Manage tab, under Drivers.
These Credentials are input as the Driver is being created. These credentials can also be added to an existing Driver as needed. Please be aware that there is no limit to the number of Drivers that can be created
If a Driver already has app login credentials, these can be seen in the Login column to the right.
To add, edit or delete credentials for an existing Driver hover over their name to see a 3-dot button. Click on this button and select Edit. Delete will remove the Driver completely, not just the app credentials. Use caution with Delete.
The two fields at the bottom of the list are used to create the app credentials. Usernames have a 5 character minimum. Consistency for Usernames is recommended. For example, First Name, Last Initial. Next, create a password for the driver. Be sure to write down both the Username and Password to give to the Driver. They will not have this information otherwise. Please be advised that Drivers cannot change their own credentials. Changes can only be made on the software platform.
